Ecuador, and everything else...

Hey everyone!
I just finished reading all the lovely posts you left. Basically, I love you all. It was so wonderful to hear from you. And as much as I would like to sit here and praise you forever, I figure you probably want to know what´s going on. So. Buckle up.

Instead of going straight to the amazon as we all previously thought, we went to an awesome hacienda. It was so beautiful. We had classes, and went exploring. We visited the center of the world. That´s right. I´ve been on both sides of the equador at the same time! A couple days ago we went on a 5 hour hike to get to these hot springs. Only, the hike was really wet, and super muddy. And not muddy like side of the road puddles that look kind of brown. Thick, sloppy, mud that went all the way up to our shins. Yay for being dirty. TTS is probably the only place on earth where all the girls are having fun slipping down the mud hill on their butt. Ahhh, it´s good to be back. Right now we´re in Tena, about to go to the Amazon tomorrow! We are going white water rafting( I hope it´s better than the Zambezi!) Up until a few hours ago, I was living in my fleece, but here it´s so humid. Crazy. Ecuador is beautiful. It´s very green, but off in the distance, you can see the snowy peaks of a mountain. Can´t wait to show you pictures.

The girls. They are wonderful. Simply amazing. I dearly love them all. They are just so cool, and I cannot wait to get to spend 3 and a half months with them. Cara is the new teacher for me and Lottie. She is also my mentor. I love her. She´s really funny and the four of them are like peas in a pod! How cute! I wish I had more to say, but you all know how it is. It´s hard to explain a trip that packs so much into one day, and you can´t just pick out the highlights. Everything has been a highlight. Oh, I guess I should mention that as a group we are working on perfecting a stomp dance. It´s pretty freaking sweet. Now we can do a dance, and THEN sing lean on me.

It is so nice to hear from all of you. Weas, Emily, Christine, Justine- Claire, Heather and Dawn all say hello, they miss and love you. Actaully they didnñt say that because they aren´t here, but I know that they would. Weas, I´ve told Heather about our summer trip to Maine. Sweeeet. She´s all for it!

Kassie my love, I hope things get better. Much much better for you. If not, you could always fly down here to visit me. I love you to pieces, and I hope things work out okay.

Again, I love you all, hope all is going great, and I´ll hear from you soon!

Much love,
Jenna
